Juventus announce media blackout

The Bianconeri are furious that the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) Disciplinary Committee rejected the plea bargain deal that had been agreed with the federal prosecutor

Juventus have announced a media blackout in response to the news that coach Antonio Conte must go to trial to answer charges relating to the Scommessopoli match-fixing scandal.
The Bianconeri boss had agreed a deal with federal prosecutor Stefano Palazzi that would have seen the former Italy international hit with a three-month touchline ban and a €200,000 fine for failing to report two alleged attempts to influence the outcome of games during his time in charge of Siena. However, the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) Disciplinary Committee surprisingly rejected Conte's plea bargain, meaning the 42-year-old is now set to be subjected to a full trial, much to the outrage of his employers.

"Juventus have yesterday [Wednesday] enforced a media blackout," read a statement on the club's website.

As well as Conte, Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci, winger Simone Pepe and backroom duo Angelo Alessio and Cristian Stellini have also been implicated in the affair.

Armero at Juve, job almost done

Udinese: "If you like him, we'll sold him"

The last piece of the puzzle is missing for Armero to come to Juve. Udinese and Juventus are sill trying to find the winning combination for both of the sides. The transfer will surely include some other players going in Udine (Bouy, Boakye, Rugani) to reduce the expense. Yesterday the chairman of Udinese said: "We have sold some important players but also we will buy new ones. Only other player that is on transfer list is Armero. The chances of him going to Napoli at this moment are zero. There is one other team interested. If Armero wants to go, we'll let him go."

Conte reaches plea bargain deal to reduce ban in Scommessopoli scandal

The Juventus coach has reportedly come to an agreement with Italian authorities to avoid the prosecution process, with the 42-year-old expected to be suspended until November.

Juventus coach Antonio Conte has reached a plea bargain with the Federal Prosecutor in exchange for a reduced ban as part of Scommessopoli in Italy. The 42-year-old is one of a number of players and coaches who are currently under investigation for their role in the latest match-fixing scandal hitting Italian football. It is believed that Conte failed to report attempts to influence the outcome of two Serie B matches against Novara and AlbinoLeffe in 2010-11 when he was in charge of Siena. According to Tuttosport, Conte's lawyers will submit the plea bargain deal to the authorities on Wednesday as the Italian coach looks to avoid a lengthy ban. The Bianconeri boss will reportedly face a three-month ban if his plea bargain is agreed, meaning he would miss a significant number of matches into the new season, before returning to the bench on November 1. In fact Conte was honest but he didn't show his honesty.

Conte: "Juve will return to the top of Europe and the world"

The Juventus coach from Chatillon greets supporters: "All this excitement is over in the spring that pushes us to do our best. Now we hope to return to the top of Europe and beyond.

Enthusiasm to the stars for Antonio Conte, who, along with his staff, has black and white greeting the people on stage at Summer Village. Before two thousand people, who welcomed him with cries of champions of Italy, trumpeting the number 30 as the badges seen, the chief made a promise. " All this excitement is over in the spring that pushes us to do our best. The last year has been extraordinary, we're back on the roof of Italy, we hope to get back on the roof of Europe ". At this point the crowd went wild with cheers and chants, drowning even the last words of Conte, that just are not trivial: " And even the world."

Lucio in Juve - Final agreement

Malaga will try to make one last attempt, but it seems like Lucio is prefering Juve.
The offer of Marotta: a two-year deal with 2.3 million per season plus bonus depending on performance.

Lucio is Juventus player, or rather, it will be soon. Already starting from tomorrow, the strong Brazilian defender should be able to officially be considered as new player of Juventus. Unless, of course, the classic unexpected market: that never, never be overlooked, but in this case - judging by the optimism that transpires from stakeholders and, especially, from the rooms of the club in Corso Galileo Ferraris - does not seem particularly worried. The signature, in short, appear largely at hand. This transfer will be great, close to that of Andrea Pirlo last summer, maybe Lucio will not be standard starter, but he will make competition and he will add experience in the defensive line for the european challenges for the next season. He is free and he is still a great player even that he is 34 years oldhe can play some important role in the team for at least one season.

Verratti still expecting on Juventus move

The Pescara and Juventus have interrupted communications. The player continues to prefer Juve, but Napoli attacks

Phone calls, meetings, press releases. Nothing from Saturday of summer sun and relax. On the Marco Verratti was staged another busy day. The last episode of the soap opera in the late morning, at the end of the talks between President Daniel Sebastiani Abruzzo, sporting director Daniele Delli Carri and the agent of the director, the attorney Donato Di Campli. Concluded the summit, the midfielder wrote on Facebook. " I stay in Pescara and respect the contract. I have not made commitments and signed with anyone. Message reinforced by the release of Pescara: " Following a meeting between the parties, where the player has reiterated a desire to remain in biancazzurro, - having, among other things, renewed last January a contract that ties him to the club Albegna away for another 4 years - took note of the will of the player. Every day we talk about Verratti, we have done so because we want to close the push and pull. We'll talk about when it is given to Verratti the right decision. We hope that he will finish at Juventus at the end.

When Ranieri picked Poulsen in front of Xabi Alonso

"Better Poulsen for our midfield" - The mistake that cost Juve a few years of struggling

On 8 October 2008 Claudio Ranieri, then Juventus coach did not bought that summer, Xabi Alonso, because he was preferring Poulsen. Now Poulsen is playing (i guess) somewhere, i have no idea where, and Xabi Alonso is the hero of Spain with two goals against France, he is a rock in the Real Madrid midfield, and he was worst than Poulsen acording to Mister Claudio Ranieri. Luckily now we have good board, and we hope that mistakes like that will not happen anymore.

Del Piero with a smile on his face explains the feeling leaving the field when he was substituted: "I was unhappy with the result, not for my replacement. It 's been a great season, this. Let's say we have not eaten the icing, we settled for eating the cake. If I realize what happened? Well, now I'm going on holiday at the sea and there I will try to digest the situation. The best picture? I carry around 19 years in one piece. I would have chosen a different outcome to leave: there is a bitter taste, but we are proud for this fantastic season. The referee? He has recorded, but I do not want to stop the events that affect. Now I have to turn the page, and in fact did not stop at my page change history.

Transfer rumors

Van Persie, Higuain, Suarez, Veratti, Asamoah?

The secret is to go after people with a suitcase ready, ready to move in short. Why do you want to finally win something, like Robin Van Persie, or because it claims the fixed place, as Gonzalo Higuain. Already met the Dutchman's agent Arsenal, Juventus yesterday did a survey with the Argentine Real Madrid Juventus sporting director Fabio Guild is in fact flew to Barcelona,  a neutral venue for dinner with the brother of Higuain, who with his father takes care of the interests, and with a lawyer. Higuain wants to get out of Jose Mourinho, despite the esteem manifested in recent times by the technician. Too much in words and not in field of 54 matches, only half Gonzalo have been played as a starter. He still produced a boom in sales from the 50s: 26 goals. Salary that he can unhinge, about 3.5 million per season plus bonus, top price: from 25 million up. He packed up yesterday, literally, Van Persie, leaving London: even if the destination is not Juve, at least for now. With the contract expiring in a year, remains an attractive piece for the big club. Once closed the season with the Italian Cup final, Juventus will decide whether to make the first move to Arsenal, after already has tied the agreement with the prosecutor Dutchman. Van Persie has spoken to Wenger: "I want a competitive team, even for the Champions - basically said the attacker - and win something." For this, the engineer made the spot of the team that will: "We took Lukas Podolski, we will take the Rennes midfielder, Yann M'Vila, and that of Borussia Dormund, Shinji Kagawa. The Gunners will challenge everyone in the Premier and Champions. " Van Persie did not seem to have been convinced. Within days, there will be a poll with the agents of Suarez.

Juve is working hard for the midfield, although still not come to agreement with the Verratti Marco Pescara, 19 years, director in front of defense. The other name is Kwadwo Asamoah, 23, architrave of the Udinese midfield: is the request of 15 million, that to attempt to file Beppe Marotta, inserting players, such as ownership of Luca Marrone.

Marotta in Brazil for Elkeson

Juve to observe Botafogo's talent right after the Cup Final

The interest in Elkeson will turn into something more concrete only after the scheduled trip from Marotta and Guild to Rio de Janeiro. The latest rumors, therefore, confirm those of a few days ago that they wanted Juve close to the talent of Botafogo. Elkeson is the launch pad, like many European clubs, but the doubts of leaders Juventus are tied to its technical maturity. Marotta is not sure that the guy can adapt quickly to Serie A. It costs about 7 million, is outside the EU, thus the first official steps to Juve wants to see clearly.

When did those years passed

Del Piero has farewelled with Juve fans and finished with Serie A. If you are fans of the Old Lady then this must be sad to you. But even if you're not Juve fan. One era of soccer is coming down from the scene. Serie A and world wide football have separated with one of his most brilliant and loving sons. After him it wont be the same. This words was surely sayed for many great players in the past, but this is different, this is Pinturicchio.

The day, hour, minute and second when Alex leaved the game for the last time will be remembered forever and will be part of the history not just for the Italians but for every football fan.
When he was substituted with Pepe i think - What now? What will be after him? How it will be without him? Surely not the same. There will be time before Del Piero, Del Piero time and (sadly) the time after Del Piero.

Barzagli's contract renewed

Andrea stays in Juve until 2015

Andrea Barzagli signed the new deal. Juve defender renewed the contract through 2015. The Juventus player who had great season therefore will remain in Turin for three more years.

Officially champions, but not just celebrating

Del Piero scores and receives standing ovation, Barzagli's first goal, Chiellini out of Coppa Italia Final

Time stops. And all for a long time to be in slow motion:
the audience gets up and starts clapping a long time, almost forever, decades long applause. Del Piero raised his arms to heaven and thanked the companions huddle around him, even his opponents Atalanta go to shake his hand, the referee Gava waits on the sidelines with a smile and tolerate the most long replacement that has never seen and who never attend. Del Piero, while the applause did not stop, reached the bench, Pepe enters. And the game ends here. The curve moves toward the sideline and the strip of land became the center of the game. Del Piero in a blaze of scarves that rain down upon him (and he collects them all) comes under the curve. And the chorus becomes deafening: "A Captain, there's only one captain". The lap of honor continues for nearly ten minutes, Del Piero is the only thing that matters at the Stadium. In the stands are now more people who weep than those who applaud: forty thousand people sing a chorus: "Thanks for everything, Del Piero, Thanks for everything." Never seen anything like it.
How have we ever seen a stadium that decides the penalty taker. And this happens at the end when Gava gives penalty and people told him it was Barzagli to pull it, the only one who had not scored for Juventus. But in this amazing film in black and white is all the joy and drama, to Chiellini who keeps everyone in suspense because of a hamstring injury that appears serious, but will be evaluated tomorrow. It seems difficult to see him in Rome for the Italian Cup final, but the trouble is that Europeans are at risk. The rest is a chronicle of a game ended quickly, when Juventus scored a magnificent goal by Marone and has doubled its own with Del Piero. It 'a team which gave good signals for the Italian Cup final (Sunday at 21 against Napoli), though perhaps for that match the intensity will be greater.

All rise for Alessandro Del Piero

Last piece of history for Alex, he will play from the beginning

There are situations where no matter how you see things but how others see them in your place. For those who remember the 703 games he played for Juventus the emotional point of its history starts here. Everything else, from the Italian Cup final match in Rome to the American League where he seems to be directed, will form the credits that you stop reading out of curiosity but does not change the plot of a good movie.

In Turin, in Juve stadium. Eight months ago, Del Piero was sitting in suits next to Boniperti on a bench in the middle of the field illuminated by a lighthouse. A month later to the official send-off in the way we know that night, but Alex was the star and a symbol of the company that gave you a house. Today is a man who greets the company, with little desire to leave, but with dignity and another league title in a suitcase, the last, most precious. I imagine that when take the field, and especially when it leaves, it will be hard not to get excited. Relatives, friends, teammates. Certainly will not end on the shoulders of Atalanta, if anything could be auctioned for charity. Del Piero will play from the start for the fourth time in the league, will trade the pennant with their counterpart in Atalanta, shake hands with the referee Gava, a ritual consumed. "Del Piero was the captain in the first league game against Parma and will last" anticipated Conte. Actually Juve and his coach have prepared the ground for the "standing ovation", 40 000 people packed the stadium for the party will stand up to applaud. Then Del Piero as captain raise the cup of the League for the success in the league and will be granted around the field to bid farewell to fans. What is a special game Alex also knows, though he did not say. He only pretended to be a simple farewell, certainly not on tiptoe because you can not, however, without dramatics. Del Piero in the stands wanted there to be his mother, his wife Sonia and his three sons, brother's family, friends who have followed him in the shadows in the last 19 years. And of course, there will be his supporters, everyone of us will be having a turning point in what Juve was with him and what Juve will be without him. No defeat that Juve has suffered can compare with this moment that will happen today. We'll miss you Alex.

Del Piero saying goodbye to AC Milan legends

Alessandro Del Piero once again has showed that hi is not just on of the greatest players in football ever but also he is a true gentleman.
On his own Facebook page he gave his honor to Alessandro Nesta, Philipho Inzaghi and Genaro Gattuso which are after many years leaving AC Milan his big rivals.
"Sandro, Rino and Pippo. colleagues or rivals, but never enemies. I'm lucky that i have played with you and against you. I respect you all guys", wroted Del Piero for whom is told that after all will extend his contract for one more year, but about that in the next posts.

Juve in "attack" for Van Persie!

Next year we are going to have another competition that we need to win, Champions League. But, that will not be that easy like Serie A :) We need some reinforcements, world class reinforcements. We all know that the main goal is to get one world class striker, 20+ goals per year player. The candidates are many, from Dzeko to Suarez, from Torres to Higuain. The last news reported that the most interest we are having on the Premiere League best player for this season Robin Van Persie. Giuseppe Marotta is working, and he said "It is not heresy, we like Van Persie". I like him too, but there is one but. As much as he is one of the best strikers in the game in this moment i don't think he is the right player for the Italian style of football. Of course this year Juve team has showed that they are not playing like old Italian soccer team, they are playing nice and football that is good to watch. But there are teams in Serie A that play "to the bone" and i don't think Van Persie can handle that. We know that he is injury prone. We need some physically strong finisher in front of the goal, who is also familiar with the Calcio, so i guess that we must go with some Italy based striker, my pick -  Edinson Cavani.
This is my opinion, Robin is great player, but i state that he is not for us. What do you think?

The Returning

It's been a long time since i posted, actually a very very long time.
This is my returning and what a returning it is, with a Serie a title. Of course the official crowning will be on our last game, on our new stadium, but we are celebrating almost a week. This i my encouragement to start over with this blog, a new fresh start and i hope i will make time to post more often. But if our heroes play like this there will be more reasons for me to write and to share my jubilation with you.
So since my last post (a long long time ago) some thing have changed - DRAMATICALLY. From team that was on way to become middle table squad we managed to go on top, at the very top. This is the returning for me to the blogging and the returning for Juve to the top where he belongs.

First to be credited is our allenatore and legend Mister Antonio Conte. He managed to put in this team courage, will to win, discipline and team spirit. At the same time he was like one of the players.
Secondly, our presidente Andrea Agnelli. That's the spirit of Agnelli Family, like it has been before, when they are in charge Juve is dominating, and what's more dominating than to win the title without feeling the taste of defeat.
And finally the players, all of them, without any exception were tigers, maybe not class but fighting to the end and playing like a real team, no individuals. Maybe not everyone of them are Juve material, but they all have some kind of contribution, they all wanted to win.

With no disrespect for the others but i must separate one of them, of course that's Andrea Pirlo. He bring to this team something that we didn't have last years, that is stability, creativity and calmness. We got lucky that he didn't have injury problems and he managed to play almost all games, and most of them with a top quality.
Last, and for me and a guess for all of the Juve true supporters - Alex Del PieroThe contract as it seems will not be extended, he will either go in USA or he will end his playing career. Both of the cases are bad. From the first time i watched Juve he was there and he was the reason I started supporting Juve, of course now i will support Juventus no matter who plays, but without him this will gonna be another team, another Juventus for me.
Regardless, we are here to enjoy and to suffer for this team, but with this season that is coming to an amazing end, i hope we will having only joy and happiness watching and supporting JUVE.

Cheers my friends and see you soon with new posts :)
