Del Piero scores and receives standing ovation, Barzagli's first goal, Chiellini out of Coppa Italia Final
Time stops. And all for a long time to be in slow motion:
the audience gets up and starts clapping a long time, almost forever, decades long applause. Del Piero raised his arms to heaven and thanked the companions huddle around him, even his opponents Atalanta go to shake his hand, the referee Gava waits on the sidelines with a smile and tolerate the most long replacement that has never seen and who never attend. Del Piero, while the applause did not stop, reached the bench, Pepe enters. And the game ends here. The curve moves toward the sideline and the strip of land became the center of the game. Del Piero in a blaze of scarves that rain down upon him (and he collects them all) comes under the curve. And the chorus becomes deafening: "A Captain, there's only one captain". The lap of honor continues for nearly ten minutes, Del Piero is the only thing that matters at the Stadium. In the stands are now more people who weep than those who applaud: forty thousand people sing a chorus: "Thanks for everything, Del Piero, Thanks for everything." Never seen anything like it.
How have we ever seen a stadium that decides the penalty taker. And this happens at the end when Gava gives penalty and people told him it was Barzagli to pull it, the only one who had not scored for Juventus. But in this amazing film in black and white is all the joy and drama, to Chiellini who keeps everyone in suspense because of a hamstring injury that appears serious, but will be evaluated tomorrow. It seems difficult to see him in Rome for the Italian Cup final, but the trouble is that Europeans are at risk. The rest is a chronicle of a game ended quickly, when Juventus scored a magnificent goal by Marone and has doubled its own with Del Piero. It 'a team which gave good signals for the Italian Cup final (Sunday at 21 against Napoli), though perhaps for that match the intensity will be greater.
